I have spent the majority of my experience in Physical Education classes in the elementary setting.  This semester I am practice teaching at a high school and I am quickly learning that these students are more difficult to movitivate.  I first found out what they were interested in and developed a unit that worked on a variety of skills using games I though they would enjoy.  This has helped with participation, but they still need motivation.  What are some successful motivation tools that I can use for my students?

Hey Alex...have you thought about working with the mentor teacher on some type of system where the students can possibly choose their activity on another day, say a Friday, if they perform at a certain level during one of your teach days??
